With the Orchid DECT phone system, 2 handsets can talk to the external line at the same time. A 3-way conference call can be set up by following the below procedures:

Example,

Handset 1 is on the line and wants to engage handset 2 in a 3-way conference:

1. With Handset 1 already talking to the outside party,
2. Press INT (Intercom key located at the bottom of keypad),
3. And then the target handset number ("2", in this case),
4. After the line is being picked up by Handset 2 (by pressing Talk key),
5. Press and hold "#" key for 2 seconds on Handset 1,
6. The three parties can now talk to each other.

Note: After step 4 above, if the user of handset 4 refuses to engage into the 3-way conference call and thus presses the Talk key to quit the conversation, handset 1 can press the INT key again to talk to the outside party again.
